U.S. Army awards $8.45M performance-based acquisition for Installation Cleanup

Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md. - On September 25, 2007, the U.S. Army Environmental Command (USAEC) awarded a $8.45M performance-based task order to Plexus Scientific Corporation of Columbia, Md., for environmental remediation services at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

The task order for work at the Canal Creek Study Area was awarded on a full and open small business set aside administered by the Army Contracting Agency, Aberdeen Proving Ground. The ten-year task order includes performance objectives for thirty-seven environmental restoration sites. The performance objectives call for achieving cleanup at ten sites by the end of September 2008, at twenty-six sites by the end of September 2009, and at one site by the end of September 2010.
