The asterisks (*) in the Army lists indicate Army courses approved by the Interservice Environmental Education Review Board (ISEERB) for use by all Department of Defense (DoD) Components. The Pest Management courses at the Army Medical Department Center & School are all similarly approved by the Armed Forces Pest Management Board. ISEERB-approved courses available from other Defense Components (Air Force, Navy, Defense Logistics Agency) are listed in the Defense Components section below.

The ISEERB is a chartered subcommittee of the Interservice Training Review Organization (ITRO). ISEERB approval indicates the course has been designed, modified, and/or supplemented to meet the needs of more than one Defense Component (usually all). Note that many of the Non-ISEERB courses at these schools may also be suitable for other Defense Components. For these other courses, read the course descriptions carefully to determine whether they primarily emphasize requirements or policies of that Component or Service.
