USAEC involves our communitiesThe Army is committed to keeping U.S. citizens informed about its activities, especially when actions might affect the communities surrounding our installations.

Many environmental laws and statutes not only require public participation; USAEC promotes Army compliance with the letter and the spirit of the law. Whether it is a scoping meeting, restoration advisory board, or installation action plan for cleanup activities, the goal is to keep the community informed and create opportunities for open communication between the Army and the citizens outside our gates.
